About

I have spent my career making work easier to understand, execute, and sustain.

My career has moved through retail operations, workforce leadership, new-store launches, national learning programs, data and technology implementation, grant compliance, and mission-driven program operations. The environments look different. The operating instinct has remained remarkably consistent.

I get close to the work before deciding what it needs. I look for the distance between what an organization believes is happening and what people, requirements, and evidence reveal. Then I build the structure around the actual work: a program, workflow, operating model, tool, control, resource, training experience, or shared way of seeing.

I am particularly drawn to moments when an organization has outgrown an informal way of operating, when something important must be implemented across many moving parts, or when the existing answer no longer explains the problem.

Good operations should not make an organization feel less human. The best structure reduces avoidable friction, makes expectations visible, protects the work from preventable failure, and gives people more capacity for the judgment and relationships only they can provide.
